TrueColors : New color calibration engine for more natural and consistant image rendering.

The February 2026 Singularity update introduced a new color calibration engine designed to enhance the rendering of images produced by Vespera’s live image processing. With TrueColors, deep-sky objects are displayed with more accurate, natural-looking colors, and consistent across the entire Vespera lineup.

TrueColors requirements

TrueColors is available exclusively on the Vespera range (Vespera I, Passengers, Vespera II, Vespera II X Edition, and Vespera Pro).

Minimum Singularity app version required:

iOS: 1.37.15

Android: 1.37.24

TrueColors availability

TrueColors is enabled by default and does not require any user action.

TrueColors applies to all new observations involving live stacking.

For Multi-Night projects, the project must be resumed at least once after updating Singularity to benefit from the new image rendering.

TrueColors does not apply to lunar and solar observations, and more generally live observations (planets, stars, and custom targets with the object type set to Star)

TrueColors does not affect RAW data files (FITS, TIFF), which remain untouched to allow full flexibility for external image processing.

Is TrueColors related to Vaonis’s SkyColor Studio? No. TrueColors is an independent enhancement that applies whether or not you use SkyColor Studio.

Can I revert to the previous color calibration? No. TrueColors replaces the legacy calibration engine and provides an improved, more accurate color rendering.

Is TrueColors available on Stellina? No. TrueColors is available exclusively on the Vespera range.

Does TrueColors affect observation behavior, such as acquisition rate or image refresh speed? No. Vespera operates exactly as before. Only the visual rendering of the image is affected.

Why do images already stored in my cloud library remain unchanged? TrueColors is applied during image acquisition and stacking. Images saved before the update are not modified retroactively.
