AI glasses, AR glasses, and display glasses are often grouped together, but they solve different problems. Understanding the difference can save you from buying a device that sounds advanced but does not fit your life. AI glasses focus on sensing, audio, and assistance. They may take photos, record video, answer questions, translate speech, play music, or help you interact with a phone assistant. Many do not have a screen. Their advantage is that they can look and feel close to normal glasses. Display glasses focus on giving you a private screen.
