Conspit announces a significant price reduction for the APEX 8Nm Bundle. The complete bundle drops from €860.00 to €616.00 excluding VAT and shipping. This amounts to a price reduction of 28 percent, which is a substantial cut.
The APEX Bundle consists of the ARES APEX 8Nm wheelbase, the 310 APEX steering wheel, the CDR Quick Release and the CPP APEX 2-pedal set. Conspit targets the bundle at sim racers looking to move up from the entry-level segment, for example from a Logitech G29 or Thrustmaster setup, to more serious hardware. From our own experience, we know that this can be quite an exciting and sometimes daunting step, as sim racing hardware prices can quickly add up.
We extensively tested the APEX Bundle at the end of 2025 and were positive about the set. What stood out in particular was the balance between the different components: the wheelbase feels mature, the steering wheel is extensively equipped, and the CPP APEX pedals offer plenty of adjustment options. For the price at the time, we already considered it a bundle with an interesting and defensible price-to-performance ratio.
With the new price, the bundle instantly becomes even more interesting for those considering making the step to a Direct Drive wheelbase and a multifunctional steering wheel. And not to forget: the pedal set is also equipped with a hydraulic brake pedal.
Alongside the price reduction of the bundle, Conspit is also introducing the Desk Mount Bracket as a separate product. This allows the ARES APEX wheelbase to be used on a desk, making the bundle even more interesting for sim racers who do want a better wheelbase, steering wheel and pedals, but can’t or don’t want to make the step to a full-fledged setup.
At the same time, Conspit is releasing new firmware for the APEX wheelbase to improve the force feedback feel, particularly in these three areas:
Smoother torque output The updated torque response output provides a more progressive and controllable steering feel, especially over road textures, kerbs, and sharp impacts.
Improved soft-lock The wheelbase feels more stable when reaching the maximum steering angle, with less shaking and oscillation when reaching the steering lock.
Reworked axis effects Friction, damping, and inertia have been refined to make the wheelbase feel more natural and stable in general use.
