Excerpt from Golfstead
If you’re serious about improving your golf game, being able to practice at home without needing to get out to the golf course can be a game-changer.
You obviously don’t want to hit off a hardwood floor, carpet, or backyard lawn since this can damage both the ground and your clubs. This is where hitting mats come in.
Golf mats are designed to mimic the feel of a real golf course, and they allow you to freely hit any club in the bag from the comfort of your home.
Of course, not everyone can afford mats that cost four figures. Fortunately, many very affordable solutions have appeared on the market, so there are options that can accommodate a range of budgets.
In this article, we’ll review and compare our picks for the best golf mats for home use across a range of different budgets. These mats should be used with a golf net at minimum, but you can also pair them with a simulator system to get the ultimate home golf experience.
