Why a full round, and not another feature tour
Menu walkthroughs tell you what software has. They do not tell you whether it is any good to play. A flyover looks spectacular for eight seconds and tells you nothing about whether the ball behaves when you catch one thin, whether the greens read true, or whether the interface starts to grate by the sixth hole.
So this one is nine holes at Pebble Beach, played straight through, with the mistakes left in. I finished one under par, which sounds tidy until you notice the double bogey late in the round that nearly undid the whole thing.
Pebble is a fair test for new simulator software, and an unforgiving one.
