Aerosoft and ToLiss Announce A330neo Pro, Detail A340-600 and A330ceo Updates for MSFS 2020/2024

Along with the release of its A330neo today, Aerosoft has outlined the next steps for several of its Airbus projects.

These announcements include a new A330neo Pro developed with ToLiss, a free model update for the A340-600 Pro, and an overhaul of Aerosoft’s existing, controversial A330ceo.

This article does NOT discuss today’s Aerosoft A330-900neo release.

As a clarification, there will now be two separate A330neo products.

The A330-900neo released today was developed standalone by Aerosoft.

The newly announced A330neo Pro is a separate future product being developed by Aerosoft in collaboration with ToLiss.

Aerosoft/ToLiss A330neo Pro

Aerosoft and ToLiss have now started work on an A330neo Pro for MSFS 2024.

Previously, ToLiss has already developed an A330neo of their own for X-Plane 12.

The ToLiss collaboration is likely to be a more advanced, high-fidelity version of Aerosoft’s standalone aircraft.

Aerosoft has shared a few details so far, and the project appears to be in its very early stages.

The company has also warned that it will take time for the aircraft to be ready.

Part of this is down to ToLiss’s existing workload.

ToLiss is currently involved in several X-Plane projects, including an A350 collaboration with FlightFactor, and Aerosoft also has other aircraft updates to complete first, they say.

It is therefore unlikely that the Aerosoft/ToLiss A330neo Pro will arrive in the near future.

A340-600 Pro Model Update

Aerosoft also provided an update on the A340-600 Pro, reiterating that they are working on a substantial model update that remains in development and will be provided free to existing owners.

Aerosoft has not yet decided whether the new modelling will be shipped in one large update or divided into several smaller releases, they say.

Nonetheless, no release date has been announced for the A340 model update.

Aerosoft A330ceo to Receive Overhaul

The existing A330ceo, developed solely by Aerosoft, faced considerable criticism when it was released for MSFS 2020 in October 2024, after several years in development.

This is the original A330 that Aerosoft released for MSFS.

The A330ceo is the older-generation version of the A330, first flown in 1992, covering the A330-300, A330-200, and A330-200F variants.
