Project MAX Releases C212-200 for MSFS 2020/2024
Quick summary· AI-generated
Project MAX's C212-200 addon models the Spanish twin-engine utility turboprop with deep systems fidelity including engine start/shutdown, propeller governing, beta range, reverse thrust, hydraulic/fuel/electrical systems, interactive cargo ramp, and a custom Electronic Flight Bag with weight-and-balance, checklists, and SimBrief integration. The aircraft includes both analogue and optional EFIS84 avionics, a Smart Copilot assistant system to reduce single-pilot workload, persistent maintenance states, and multiple cabin configurations (military/passenger). Custom sounds and a weather radar with dual modes are also included.

Project MAX has released a rendition of the C212-200 Aviocar for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024, a Spanish, twin-engine utility turboprop.
The real CASA C212 was designed as a rugged transport aircraft, intended to operate from short and remote airfields.
It has a high-winged configuration, fixed landing gear, an unpressurised cabin, and a rear cargo ramp, enabling it to operate passenger, cargo, military, and paratroop missions.
The -200 variant, depicted here, has more powerful engines and stronger landing gear than the earlier -100 model.
Project MAX says their version includes detailed engine and propeller simulations, with normal operation, beta range, reverse thrust, propeller governing, engine start and shutdown, exhaust gas temperature, and engine limiting all modelled.
The hydraulic, fuel, electrical, and brake systems are modelled, as well as engine oil, wear contamination, and maintenance, Project MAX says.
The cockpit comes with various avionics and equipment options, including both traditional analogue instrumentation and an optional EFIS84 electronic display configuration.
GPs, units, radios, displays, and autopilot equipment are interchangeable to represent the different C212 setups in real life.
Project MAX has also created a custom Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) where you can configure your weight and balance, and it provides various fuel and electrical information, checklists, performance calculations, SimBrief integration, Navigraph charts, maintenance and aircraft configuration pages.
Project MAX has also created a “Smart Copilot” system that can provide additional assistance with gust-lock operations, propeller levers, take-off power, and hydraulics, thereby reducing the workload for the single operator.
The aircraft features an interactive cargo ramp, doors, wheel chocks, a ground power unit, and other equipment.
Different configurations for military and passenger cabins have been included, the windshield wipers are also animated, and a weather radar with both weather and ground-mapping modes has been included, Project MAX says.
The Project MAX C212 also has persistent aircraft settings and maintenance states (they save between flights), and a custom sound set.
