MK Studios has recently released their upgraded rendition of Tenerife South Airport (GCTS) for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, serving the island of Tenerife, which has an annual average of 14 million passengers, making it the second-busiest in the Canary Islands.
It opened 20 months after the deadliest airplane accident in history, where two Boeing 747s collided in Tenerife North, considered risky by the government for many years (they have been pondering constructing a new airport since the 1960s) due to how often it would offer awful visibility.
