Just Flight F70/F100 Media Embargo Lifted & Product Overview Released

The Fokker 70 and 100 from Just Flight are continuing their march toward release, and the developer has now released a comprehensive, hour-long Product Overview video on their social channels.

Numerous content creators have gotten access to pre-release copies, and you can now watch the Fokkers in action across several YouTube and Twitch channels.

The Product Overview covers pretty much everything, including the exterior model, cockpit, cabin, avionics, systems, and electronic flight bag (EFB). As expected, Just Flight notes that the footage is from a pre-release build, so a few things could still change before launch.

As a history lesson, the Fokker 70 and 100 succeeded the F28 Fellowship, which Just Flight has previously released, first with the stretched Fokker 100 in 1988 and later with the shortened Fokker 70 in 1993.

Some of the innovations were the new Rolls-Royce Tay engines and significantly more advanced avionics.

Just Flight says in their Fokker development blog that their product will include one F70 and four F100 variants, covering various door and cabin configurations, with appropriate liveries for each.

Just Flight says the flight deck features fully functional CRT EFIS displays, dual FMCs, weather radar, a custom FMS, a custom autopilot, a custom autothrottle, and AFCS.

The aircraft includes a custom EPR simulation, “realistic thrust modes,” and performance data derived from the aircraft’s documentation.

The Flight Dynamics, Just Flight says, have been tuned individually for each variant, with input from pilots and engineers familiar with the Fokkers.

There’s a fully modelled passenger cabin onboard that can also be turned off to further improve performance.

You have a wide range of features to fiddle with, including the ability to interact with doors, cabin crew interface, control boarding music, and interphone functions, and you can even import your own audio.

The on board EFB is where you’ll manage all aircraft states, fuel and payload, performance calculations, checklists and flight planning, also with SimBrief and Navigraph integration.

Other features, as listed by Just Flight, are custom lighting, visual icing, wheel spray, and MSFS 2024 walkaround support. The soundscape was created in Audiokinetic’s Wwise, recorded from real F70 and F100 aircraft, and Just Flight describes it as their best work yet.
