As part of their #FSExpoFriday presentation at FlightSimExpo 2026, Calum Martin from SoFly shared an update on Cabin Announcement Pro, confirming that the universal announcement solution is on track to release in 2026.
The upcoming add-on is being developed for both Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, with support planned for both PC and console.

Automatic and Manual Operation
Cabin Announcement Pro will offer two ways to use the addon. You can either trigger the desired announcements manually throughout the flight or let the software manage them automatically.
When using automatic mode, you can also import a SimBrief flight plan; the addon then uses that as a baseline, monitoring the phase of flight and playing relevant crew announcements when appropriate, reacting to your progress.
Dynamic announcements
According to SoFly, the announcements will adapt to various conditions.
The time of day can influence which announcements are played, and the system will also register whether the fasten-seat-belt sign is on or off, which in turn affects the outcome.
SoFly also stated that more “dynamic scenarios” are planned and will be revealed in due course, closer to the release date.
The addon also supports a variety of airlines, and when an airline is identified, perhaps through your uploaded SimBrief flight plan, Cabin Announcement Pro will automatically select an appropriate regional accent.

Cabin Announcement Pro will include a set of “non-standard” procedures for less common events, for example, the ability to trigger special announcements for birthday celebrations and other occasions, and there are also announcements at the ready for go-arounds that generate dedicated passenger address messages.
All of this will be controlled through an in-sim panel.
Releasing 2026
SoFly has stated that Cabin Announcement Pro will be released before the end of 2026, at an unspecified price. As mentioned, it will be released for MSFS 2020 and 2024.
